Cordelia Holst – Sebastopol Community and Cultural Center
March 27 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Cordelia Clifton Holst was raised in Sebastopol, attended Apple Blossom, Twin Hills and Analy High School. When she was 16 she got her first job as an office assistant at the SCCC and worked for two years until she went away to get a business degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Cordelia was trained and mentored by working closely with the Executive Director at the time, Kim Camp. Cordelia’s late mother, Kathy Clifton, ran the beloved Tiny Tots preschool program through the SCCC for 25 years.
After falling in love with her Norwegian husband, Jørgen Holst, Cordelia moved to Norway, staying close with Sebastopol friends and family and visiting often. She has over 18 years experience in business and marketing; a depth of experience in account services at advertising agencies, marketing at international companies; grit and determination as entrepreneur and founder of two pie shops, Hello Good Pie, in Oslo.
Since the family moved back to Sebastopol, Conrad, their son, started at Apple Blossom school. Cordelia has enjoyed volunteer opportunities through Ceres Community Project, her son’s school the Twin Hills Apple Blossom Educational Foundation. Jørgen is a member of Noon Rotary volunteering to help plan idea sessions for the district conference and the Learn to Swim program.
Cordelia is delighted to have started her dream job, the Executive Director at the community center in January 2018, coming full circle 22 years after that first job as office assistant.
