The Rotary Club of Sebastopol Sunrise provides many community services that are possible as a result of fundraising events throughout the year.  Since its founding in May 1997, the Rotary Club of Sebastopol Sunrise has made contributions to our local community through our Community Grants Program.


A sampling of grant recipients includes:

  • El Molino High School Programs: Culinary arts, photo department, woodshop department
  • Analy High School Programs: Speech and debate team, English department, Project graduation, Analy Band, Portable Stage

  • Sonoma County Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Program
  • Sebastopol Center for the Arts
  • The Middle Way
  • Sebastopol Teen Center
  • Sebastopol Community Center
  • Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue

  • Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce
  • Forestville Firefighters Association
  • Occidental Volunteer Fire Department
  • YMCA California Odyssey of the Mind

    Whenever our community needs help, financial or otherwise, you will find us! We provide volunteers and support for many local projects such as: Coordinate and staff English tutorial program for high school students, Sonoma County Parks & Recreation Adopt-a-trail Program, Host speech and video contests for El Molino & Analy HS students, Honor local volunteers with our Service to Youth Awards, Sponsor two students to renowned leadership camp, Sponsored team for American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" team.

    In addition to community programs, local Rotarians assist in international educational and humanitarian programs such as:  Project Amigo in Colima, Mexico, The Peruvian Amazon Indian Institute, Investigation to establish an orphanage in Uganda and involvement in several Vietnam projects.  We also sponsor a Rotary outgoing exchange student to foreign country, and host of Rotary exchange student from foreign country for one year.

    Do You Think You Might Be Interested In Sponsoring one of our Events?

    By sponsoring one of our events, you can contribute to local schools and non-profit organizations. There are many ways to sponsor. You can be listed on our event Web Page and Billboards with your company logo. You can be listed in the event brochure. You can also purchase a corporate banner for display at the event.
